SWAT: (Mingora) – Over 600 employees of WSSC Swat are suffering due to delayed salaries and unpaid dues. The workers have now issued a strong warning: if their pending payments are not cleared by tomorrow, they will shut down sanitation services today and water supply from tomorrow.

Led by Mohammad Razak, President of the Mutahida Mazdoor Union CBA, employees staged a protest at the WSSCS Transfer Station today. Razak emphasized,

We will not stop the protests until our salaries and dues are fully paid. Our demands must be met.

The workers are showing solidarity in their fight for fair treatment. With essential services like sanitation and water supply at risk, local authorities must act swiftly to resolve the issue and prevent a complete work stoppage in Swat. The deadline is fast approaching, and the workers’ patience is running thin.

This situation not only threatens to disrupt services but also reflects the growing frustration of employees facing financial hardship. The authorities must address this issue to avoid further escalation.
